ABOUT THE BOOK:
When shy and lonely Critter wishes for a friend, he’s visited by a moon fairy who delivers instead a curious jar of happy love sprinkles. The colorful crystals take flight, leading the young fox on a magical journey through the forest where he crosses paths with Sprout, a wilted plant who yearns to be big, Peep, a little songbird with no voice, and Cakes, a raccoon who likes his sweets more than he should. Complete with a recipe for making Happy Love Sprinkles, children will be inspired to give of themselves and befriend others.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Maria and Kim are earth science teachers and best friend from Long Island, New York. This is their first children's picture book.
When MARIA DICOSTANZA is not snow-boarding, zip-lining through the rainforest, or white water rafting in Class 5 rapids, she enjoys cooking, crafting, and photography. On weekends you may find her kayaking in the sound, or strolling through the lavender fields on the east end of Long Island with her husband and dog.
KIM MESSINA lives on the rocky coast of Long Island, where she enjoys feeding wild turkeys, moongazing, and playing backyard soccer with her husband and dog. She is the founder of My Human "N" Me, Inc., a human-grade pet treat company, which offers gourmet jerky for dogs. She recently completed her second children's picture book, If You Could Ask Your Dog One Question.
