Self-published Long Island author SAM P. will speak about and sign her new book, Hooked on Humor: Life Upside Down.

What’s the secret to overcoming life’s obstacles, staying young, and enjoying the good life? Humor! At least that’s according to Long Island art teacher Sam P., whose goal in life, to always put a smile on someone’s face, has helped her create a life where she is surround by loving friends full of joy (and a few good jokes.) Now, Sam shares the hilarious and totally real comments and conversations she has collected over the years in her new book, Hooked on Humor: Life Upside Down.

Sam P. is an elementary school art teacher on Long Island, New York. She received her BA in Fine Arts and her Masters in Art Education from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY. She has won 2nd place and 3rd place awards in sculpture at East Meadow Public Library.
