The Trio:

VALERIE JONES, clarinet, received her Bachelors of Music from SUNY at Fredonia and Masters from SUNY at Stony Brook. She has studied with Lawrence Sobol, James Smith, Peter Simenauer and Jack Kreiselman. Valerie Jones presently performs with the Atlantic Wind Symphony, Concert Pops of Long Island and Symphonic Band of Suffolk. In addition, Valerie has appeared in numerous orchestral, theatrical, solo recital and chamber music performances in the tri-state area including Chamber Music Conference of the East, Airport Theater, Broadway Bach,Theater Three, the Long Island Performers Club, the Long Island Composers Alliance, the Nassau Symphony and the Island Lyric Opera. She is currently a music educator in the Connetquot School District.

Clarinetist NANCY DANIELS maintains an intensive performing schedule, including the responsibilities of principal clarinet with the South Shore Symphony, the Massapequa Philharmonic and the Island Chamber Symphony. A founding member of the award-winning woodwind quintet, Four Winds and a Horn, she also performs with the Concert Pops of Long Island. Nancy received her BM from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and her MM from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

HEATHER JACKSON received her Bachelors degree from SUNY Potsdam and her Masters degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. Ms. Jackson has performed with the Boston Philharmonic, Massapequa Philharmonic, Concert Pops of Long Island, Island Chamber Symphony, Symphonic Band of Suffolk, Atlantic Wind Symphony, American Chamber ensemble, and the Gilbert and Sullivan Light Opera theatre. A music educator in the East Meadow Public Schools, Ms. Jackson also serves as a woodwind adjudicator for the NY State Schools Music Association festivals.
