Long Island children’s author MARY ELLEN McDONALD will speak about and sign her new book, Wigglys and Skypie Visit the Pollution Planet.
Wigglys and Skypie are two lovable, spunky and energetic heart-shaped Martian children from the Planet KISS. They are ten-year-old brother and sister twins who travel through the universe in their own little spaceship. They have wonderful and exciting adventures visiting all sorts of fantasy planets in need of their help. They teach children important life lessons in thrilling little poetic stories.
In the first book of the series, Wigglys and Skypie Visit the Pollution Planet, Wigglys and Skypie have a mission to clean up a dirty, old polluted planet that is dying from all the toxic garbage and poisons in the air. Their trees and flowers are lifeless, their birds don’t sing, their bees don’t buzz, the people and animals are choking, their oceans are filthy with chemicals and their sun doesn’t shine! Wigglys and Skypie help them “go green,” and teach them to be kind and respectful to the environment. They restore their dying planet to a place of beauty and cleanliness, where they will live forever in peace and harmony! GO GREEN!!!!!!
