JONATHAN SHAPIRO
Humorist JONATHAN SHAPIRO will speak about and sign his new book, Shapiros's World

Jonathan S. Shapiro has a skewed view of life. He may miss the forest, he may miss the trees, but he doesn’t miss the tiny bugs beneath the surface of life. In his new book, Shapiro analyzes the oddities and phenomena of everyday life, everything from coffee shop loitering—how long is too long to sit with your laptop plugged in at Starbucks?—to the media and popular culture—did they screw us up, or did we screw them up?—to elevator rides and other awkward moments. Full of random asides and Jonathan’s witty common guy observations, Shapiro’s World is like looking through a one-way mirror…and no one knows you’re watching.
Originally from Long Island, Jonathan S. Shapiro graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from S.U.N.Y. He received his law degree from Fordham Law School where he was an editor for the Fordham Law Review. He is a partner at a midtown Manhattan law firm and an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School.
