Self-published Long Island author DOMINICK MORREALE will speak about and sign his new historical fiction novel, The Legend of Benny.

While holiday shopping in an antique store on Long Island’s North Fork soon after Thanksgiving, a gentleman stumbles upon an old diary that launches him on an incredible adventure into history. The entries are written by Benny, an orphaned child who grew up to become an unsung hero of the American Revolution and an incredible romantic whose love is tested by the times.

The Legend of Benny is the story of the people who courageously engaged in a struggle for independence, often torn between difficult choices and forced to choose a side, all in the name of founding a nation. It is also a romance, and a portrait of the sacrifices and struggles of love and family during stressful times.

Dr. Dominick J. Morreale earned his BA and MS degrees from Adelphi University. He earned his doctorate at Nova Southeastern University. After a distinguished career in education, he now dedicates his time to literary pursuits. He lives on the North Fork of Long Island.
