Self-published Long Island author DEB DAMONE will speak about and sign her new memoir, The Ominous Betrayal: Memoir of a Child of Hope.

In her new memoir, author Deb Damone presents the incredible story of her life, a story she admits may be controversial but she asserts is wholly truthful, in the hopes that her experience—and her survival—may serve as a beacon of hope to others suffering similar pain in silence.

As Deb describes her new work, “This is not just a book; it is the public unveiling of my heart.”

Born Joyce Debra Sierra on May 3, 1953 at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, Deb legally changed her name in 2004 to Deb J. Damone. Her real passion has always been human service. In 2008 Deb was certified from Cornell University as a Life Coach through the Family Development Coach (FDC) program, and in 2009 became certified as a Emergency Room Companion for the Victims Informa-tion Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS).
