Long Island author and lawyer ALAN KATZ will speak about and sign his new book, For the Record: Israel and the Palestinians, What the Media Aren’t Telling You.

For over twenty-five years, Alan Katz has been penning letters and essays voicing his opinion on the state of affairs in the Middle East. He has sent out more than 250 essays and items of correspondence that humanize the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as lived by the Israelis.

In his latest book, Katz presents his second volume of letters-to-the-editor in which he expresses his concern about bias in the media’s coverage of the conflict and seeks to explain the sacrifices, pain and courage of the Israelis while exposing the hypocrisy of the media.

Alan Katz has been published in both print and online media. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and studied law in New York and England. He is a trustee of the Parker Jewish Institute and a member of the board of Cancer Care of Long Island.
